Fall Concert 2010

There is something special about Christmas in New England that has inspired artists such as Currier and Ives, poets such as Robert Frost, and many fine composers. We will spotlight the music of those composers with a variety of music from Daniel Pinkham's Christmas Cantata with brass accompaniment and Charles Theodore Pachelbel's double-choir Magnificat, to Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride and Irving Berlin's White Christmas.

The performance will be held at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 35 S. Franklin St. in Wilkes-Barre, on Saturday December 11th at 7:30 pm.

Spring Concert 2011

This spring CALC will offer performances of Mozart's Requiem with professional orchestra and soloists at venues in Wilkes-Barre and Hazleton. The concerts, which will take place on Palm Sunday weekend, will take on an extra spiritual dimension as they lead directly into to the holiest week of the Christian calendar.

Performances will be at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday April 16th at 7:30 pm, and at a church in the Hazleton area on Sunday April 17th at 3:00 pm.

For all concerts, tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors, and are available at the door or may be purchased in advance from chorus members.
